1. Information we collect

We may collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, phone number, and order details when you place an order or create an account. We ask for a phone number at checkout so Renee can reach you about your pickup, and we save it to your account from your first order so it fills in automatically next time. You can change it on any order, and doing so only affects that order. We also collect basic site usage information that helps us keep the storefront secure and functional.

2. Payment processing

Online payments are processed by Square, Inc. — card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Cash App Pay. Your card details are sent directly to Square through its own secure payment fields and never touch our servers. Square's use of your payment information is governed by Square's own privacy policy.

We also offer Afterpay as a pay-over-time option at checkout. Afterpay is a lender rather than a card processor: choosing it hands you off to Afterpay, which collects and assesses its own information about you to decide whether to approve the plan and then manages the repayment schedule with you directly. We receive the money as a single settled payment and never see that assessment. Afterpay's use of your information is governed by its own privacy policy.

3. Cookies and authentication

We use authentication cookies only where needed to keep sign-in sessions working. We do not store marketing or tracking cookies outside of authentication-related functionality. No analytics or ad-tracking cookies are used for this storefront. You can read our full Cookie Policy for more detail.

4. Signing in with Apple, Google, or Facebook

You can sign in with an Apple, Google, or Facebook account instead of keeping a password here. When you do, that company tells us your name, your email address, and — for Google and Facebook — the picture on the account. That is everything we ask for and everything we receive: your password is never shared with us, we cannot see your contacts, photos, posts, or friends, and we never post anything anywhere as you.

If you use Apple's Hide My Email, we receive a relay address ending in privaterelay.appleid.com instead of your real one. That works here — order confirmations reach you through it, and we treat it as your address. You can disconnect a sign-in at any time from the Apple, Google, or Facebook account itself, and if that is the only way you have been getting in, set a password here first. Deleting the bakery account is a separate request, explained on the data deletion page.

5. Automated translation and AI features

This site is published in English, Spanish, Chinese, Korean, and Japanese. To do that, the text of a review or comment you post is sent to OpenAI, which translates it into the other languages we support. Those translations are stored alongside your original wording and shown to visitors browsing in those languages. Only the text of the post itself is sent — never your name, email address, phone number, or order details.

The "Find My Loaf" assistant also sends what you type into the chat to OpenAI in order to generate a reply, so please avoid entering personal or sensitive information there. Separately, note that reviews and comments you submit are published publicly on the product page, alongside the name shown on your account.

Every AI feature on this site — the translations above, the "Find My Loaf" assistant, and the automated screening of reviews and comments — is provided by OpenAI; we do not run our own models. Content sent to OpenAI for any of these features is processed on OpenAI's systems, and OpenAI may retain it and use it to train and improve its models. Treat anything you type into an AI feature as leaving our hands, and do not include personal or sensitive details you would not want used that way.

6. How we use your information

We use your information to process orders, communicate about pickup and fulfillment, maintain account access, and improve the site. We do not sell your personal information.

7. Your choices

If you have an account, you may contact us to request access to or correction of your information. You may also ask us to delete account-related information where applicable and permitted by law.
