Deleting your data

How to have your account and the personal information attached to it deleted, what goes, and what has to stay. This applies whether you signed up with a password or with an Apple, Google, or Facebook account.

How to ask

Email [email protected] from the address on the account, with "data deletion" in the subject. That is the whole process — there is no form to fill in. Renee will confirm by reply once it is done, usually within a few days and always within thirty.

What gets deleted

Your account and everything personal attached to it: your name, email address, password, the pickup number saved from your first order, and the link to any Apple, Google, or Facebook account you signed in with. Reviews, comments, and feedback you wrote come down from the storefront along with it.

What has to stay

The record of what was sold. Kentucky requires a home-based processor to keep its sales records, and Square keeps its own record of every card payment whatever we do. Those order records stay, stripped of your contact details so they read as a sale rather than as you. We can ask Square to delete their copy but we cannot do it for them — their privacy policy covers that side.

Disconnecting a social sign-in

If you only want to stop using Apple, Google, or Facebook to get in — and keep your account — you do not need us at all. Remove this site from that account directly: appleid.apple.com under Sign in with Apple, myaccount.google.com under Data and privacy, or Settings and privacy on Facebook. Set a password here first, or you will have no way back in.

Asking on someone else's behalf

We act on a request from the email address on the account, or on a legal request we can verify, and not otherwise. That is not paperwork for its own sake: an account deleted on a stranger's word is an account deleted on a stranger's word.
